Editorial standards
- Link the original source and keep its publication date separate from our review date.
- Distinguish manufacturer specifications, editorial recommendations, user measurements and independent verification.
- Record exact device revisions and relevant firmware/client versions in test reports. Do not claim all versions were checked.
- Retain failed and partial field tests. Never turn a map observation into a coverage guarantee.
- Mark alpha firmware and unconfirmed local settings clearly. A firmware news story is not a deployment recommendation.
- Review technical pages when upstream behavior changes, and mark dated entries for another review after 90 days.
- Use original summaries and properly attributed material. Do not republish another site's articles or images without permission.
