you tested.

A field report describes a particular path, time and configuration. It does not establish coverage across the surrounding area.

Run one counted series

Download a blank packet-series log. Keep raw logs privately and redact before sharing evidence.

  1. Record both radios, firmware revisions, modem preset and general endpoint areas. Keep keys and residential locations private.
  2. Record the observation time, antenna heights, terrain and weather. Identify direct or relayed delivery; use unknown when you cannot establish it.
  3. Send a counted packet series in one direction. Record how many packets from that series arrived, and note RSSI/SNR when available.
  4. Repeat in the other direction as a separate report. Include failed attempts and changed conditions.
  5. Preserve redacted logs and your test method at a public HTTPS reference if you want evidence review. Review privacy before uploading any files.

Three distinct levels

Reviewed for publication
An administrator reviewed public content and privacy. The RF result remains a community claim.
Evidence reviewed
An independent reviewer examined the raw counted-series evidence, device configuration and conditions, and records a public method and reference. This does not mean the reviewer physically repeated the test.
Independently repeated
An independent operator repeated the same identified path. Both dated reports must be approved and public, with matching path ID and endpoint areas. Conditions, differences and the reviewer’s relationship to the contributors must be explained in the public method.

Reviewer checklist

Editing a report clears its verification unless the reviewer explicitly completes a new review. Removing either report in an independent repetition removes that repetition claim from public output.

Map and analytics rules

The range database reports measured outcomes and general endpoint areas. The observation map displays node observations. RF Explorer displays a terrain model. None creates a measured coverage polygon or guarantees reachability between untested locations. Precise residential coordinates are not required for public evidence.

Delivery statistics pool received/sent counts only for valid single-direction tests. Unknown, uncounted and combined-direction observations remain visible but are excluded from that denominator. Distances remain contributor-reported; the site has no independent geodetic distance check.
